Hebrews

The Book of Hebrews is a powerful and persuasive letter written to Jewish believers who were struggling with their Christian faith, tempted to revert to the familiar traditions of the Old Covenant. Its core message is the absolute supremacy of Jesus Christ over everything that came before Him. The author systematically argues that Jesus is superior to angels, Moses, the Levitical priesthood, and the sacrificial system, presenting Him as the ultimate and perfect High Priest and the final revelation of God. The book encourages its readers to hold firmly to their faith, to persevere through trials, and to approach God with confidence through the new and living way established by Christ’s finished work.
