Eternal God, I praise Your wisdom for providing clear, loving instructions for marriage, calling husbands to love their wives as themselves and wives to respect their husbands. I confess, Lord, that in the busyness and demands of life, my human tendencies often lead me to fall short of these beautiful commands, allowing selfishness or lack of appreciation to creep into our relationship, leading to feelings of loneliness or resentment. Empower me, Father, to continually demonstrate sacrificial love and honor my wife with profound respect, seeing her as Your beloved creation. Help us both to fulfill our roles with grace, revitalizing our intimacy and nurturing a partnership built on deep devotion and mutual care. I yield our hearts to Your perfect design for our marriage.
